Claims

These terms and conditions apply to sales between d:Signage AS and business customers, and supplement the provisions of the Sale of Goods Act, Section 32

Standard Warranty for Android Media Player – 1 Year
The media player comes with a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty covers functional defects and deficiencies caused by manufacturing errors, and applies in addition to the Buyer's statutory right to claim (reklamasjonsrett).

The warranty is void if the defect is due to external factors, misuse, unauthorized modifications, or normal wear and tear.

Procedure for Filing a Claim

  1. Notification: The Buyer is obligated to file a claim in writing and without undue delay after the defect was discovered, or should have been discovered, provided the defect occurred within the applicable warranty period.
    The notification must include a description of the defect.
  2. Submission: The defective media player must be sent to our service workshop for troubleshooting and remediation.


Shipping and Costs
In case of a warranty claim, the Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs related to the submission and return of the media player.

  • Shipping to us: The Buyer covers the cost of shipping to our service workshop.

  • Return Shipping: The Buyer covers the cost of return shipping for the repaired or new player.

If we receive a media player without a defect, or if the defect is not covered by the warranty/right to claim, the Buyer will be invoiced for our incurred costs for troubleshooting and return shipping.

Seller's Obligations for a Valid Claim
If the defect is covered by the warranty or the right to claim, d:Signage has the right to choose the measure. Our primary measure will be rectification (repair).

  • Repair: We will attempt to repair the defective media player. The repair shall be carried out within a reasonable time.

  • Replacement/New Player: If we are unable to repair the player, or if the repair is deemed disproportionate, we will deliver a new media player in exchange (replacement) in accordance with the warranty.
